Annette Myers-Photography, Oil/Acrylic Painting

     Annette Myers is a photographer and oil/acrylic painter who is not a native Texas, but got here as soon as she could.  She has been a photographer since 2000 and a painter since around 2005.  Her first love is photography and she is self-taught.   She states that God's beauty, whether people, animals, or landscapes, is her inspiration for her artwork.      Her painting career began with personal art lessons from William Hallmark, a famous painter who resides in the great state of Alabama.  Annette is a nurse by occupation and spends her spare time looking for special photography events and opportunities, painting with her husband, and horseback riding.  You can contact her at 512-558-1686 or email her at amyersfineart@gmail.com.

Laraine Romine-Painting, Sculpting, and Pottery

Laraine has always wanted to be an artist. She is self taught and has developed her own style of realism in her paintings.  She paints in acrylics, watercolors, pastels and has recently taken up sculpting and pottery making. Her paintings are one of a kind and unique.  Loraine has been painting for 30 years and enjoys it very much.  She has been a member of the New Braunfels Art League since January 2004 and also does custom paintings for those looking to capture their photos on canvas.  Loraine’s paintings have  been displayed throughout the United States from coast  to coast and has won many awards over the years.        Loraine’s recent experiences with sculpting has been  under the direction and instruction of Trace Guthrie,  who is very well known for his sculpting across the  country.  Her other hobbies include gardening and the  study of Native Americans and their archaeological  stone tools.  She is a vocational archaeologist, a dream  she has had since childhood.
